 My party, the sp.a in Brussels, has published a magazine in English language introducing our priorities, our candidates and our projects for the region. As a party's candidate, my task is to make sure these priorities also find their way to the local level in my commune.Click here to read Spots on Brussels. Sp.a are the Flemish Socialists and Social Democrats, present in government in the Brussels region, Flanders and the Federal Government. We hope this booklet will give you a first insight into what the sp.a and its candidates in Brussels stand for. At the forthcoming local elections in Jette, I am running for a seat in the local council. You can find me on the 3th place of the sp.a-spirit list. I have made the following issues my absolute priority for Jette: - a youth house - a party hall - a green and carfree city center As an advisor to the Brussels Minister of Transport, Pascal Smet, I am very aware of the importance of close cooperation between the regional and the local level. That’s why I also want to make sure the principles that sp.a is establishing at the Brussels regional level are also implemented in our commune: a real youth policy, more party possibilities, better public transport, increased road safety and easier bicycling in Jette. I hope that you will give me a chance on the 8th of October, and vote an enthousiastic youngster into the City Council of Jette.
